Situation The Paradise Cove Hotel is situated on the extreme north coast of the island, next to Cap Malheureux fishing village, 4kms from the bustling shopping village of Grand Bay, 14kms from the capital city Port Louis and 60km from the airport. In the early 1990's Jean-Marc Harel, a charismatic Franco-Mauritian businessman, conceived the idea of developing a resort in Cap Malheureux that would be consistent with the traditional Mauritian architecture and service, enabling vacationers to relax comfortably in a setting of great natural beauty. The hotel was designed by the world-renowned Mauritian architect Maurice Giraud, built in a traditional architectural style and surrounds a magnificently secluded private cove.
